Scope and Contents
These two badges have the same design of a laurel wreath topped with a heraldic sun surrounding an image of two clasped hands holding a pike topped with a Phrygian (or liberty) cap. One badge is gold in color and the other is silver. Both have fastenings on the reverse for sewing onto clothing. Papercut demons

Abstract
This collection of eight Japanese-style papercut demons were crafted from red and white paper. The designs were made by folding the paper in half and then cutting designs in it, so that the images would be symmetrical. No creator information is known, but they are believed to have been created in the United Kingdom.
